Tribute

Rodger was a much-loved husband to Paulene, devoted father to Michelle and Andrew, proud Grandad to Luke, and a dearly loved brother to Kay. He was the son of the late Eugene and Sybil Edwards and will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.

Francis House held a particularly special place in Rodger's heart and in the hearts of the whole family, following the support they gave to the late Andrew. Their care and compassion meant so much to Rodger and his family, and their memory will always be treasured.

Rodger leaves behind a lifetime of memories, love and kindness. He will be loved and missed always.

Favourite memory

There are far too many special memories of Rodger to choose just one, but so many happy times were spent at his beloved caravan in Saltfleet, Lincolnshire. It was a place where he could relax, enjoy the things he loved, and spend time with his loved ones.

Memories

I worked with Rodger during my time at UMIST/UoM. Rodger was such a gentle soul, kind, funny, supportive and generous. One of many memories is of him calling into the Registrar’s offices at Christmas time with a big sack of chocolates for everyone, putting a big smile on everyone’s faces. Such a lovely gentleman who will be sadly missed x
